The (non-rechargeagle) batteries lasted for all of 10 shots. Upon putting in the rechargeable batteries, the charge seemed to be vanishing quickly. I did a search on Kodak camera battery life, and found some discussions on poor battery performance on their cameras, a problem Kodak was aware of, but had no interest in addressing. I decided to forego the headache of short battery life, and returned the Kodak and purchased a Canon Power Shot, which I love.
