A few technical issues such as increased speed of refreshing after taking a photo would be nice and it could use a few more manual controls with a camera with its possibilities. However, having said that it has excellent clarity and zoom and actually has more ability to be manually set than expected.It also doesn't seem to have the softness at extreme Zoom that many of the smaller cameras have.If you work with it and the manual you will find that it has more manual ability than expected. The manual has to be downloaded from the Olympus website and once you have that it is fairly easy, with practice, to find the controls that initially don't appear to be available to make some manual settings.Its physical size is nice and even if it is not a true pocket camera, it is small enough to fit in a large pocket or on a medium belt case.
